Meet the Doctors

Doctors Andrew and Travis McElroy

After graduating, Dr. Andrew returned home to South Jersey and opened Atlantic Health & Chiropractic. What began as a local chiropractic office has grown into a longstanding neighborhood practice, with Dr. Andrew caring for generations of patients and families throughout Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.

In 2019, the practice entered its next chapter when Dr. Travis McElroy joined his father. Dr. Travis earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Coastal Carolina University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2018. His background in exercise physiology and chiropractic care brings a modern perspective to the practice while continuing the patient-first approach established by his father decades ago.

Today, Dr. Andrew and Dr. Travis work side by side, combining more than four decades of experience with the latest approaches to chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and wellness.

For the McElroys, Atlantic Health & Chiropractic is more than a chiropractic office. It is a family practice built in South Jersey, rooted in Atlantic City, and dedicated to helping the community they call home feel better, move better, and live healthier lives.

Atlantic Health & Chiropractic is a father-and-son chiropractic practice that has proudly served Atlantic City and the surrounding South Jersey community for more than 40 years. Founded by Dr. Andrew McElroy in 1984, the practice has remained in the same Atlantic City location since the day its doors first opened.

Dr. Andrew was born and raised in Margate, New Jersey, and his connection to the local community goes back generations. He attended Holy Spirit High School, where he was a member of the 1973 state championship football team. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Dayton before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 1983.
